Vandana Soni, M.D.
Doctor Vandana Soni earned her Medical Doctorate degree from King George’s Medical College in Lucknow, India. She subsequently completed her Residency in Anesthesiology from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Hospital Center in New York. Doctor Soni completed her Fellowship at the Hahnemann Medical College Hospital and Children’s Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Doctor Soni has earned the distinction of achieving Dual Board Certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Management. Doctor Soni has served as the Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts and the University of California, Irvine. Doctor Soni has published numerous articles and has also been a speaker at several conferences on the subject of Anesthesia. Doctor Soni was awarded the Professor of the Year Award at the University of California, Irvine. Doctor Soni is one of the founders of Newport Beach Surgery Center and is presently the Centers’ Medical Director. She currently practices at the Newport Beach Surgery Center and is also affiliated with Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. Doctor Soni also founded the Medical Ayurvedic Rejuvenation Center in Newport Beach where she practices alternative heath care as a Certified Ayurvedic Specialist.
Jeffrey Topkis, D.O.
Doctor Topkis completed his undergraduate degree in biology at LaSalle College in 1969 and his Medical Doctorate degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine located in Philadelphia in 1973. Doctor Topkis completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Hahnemann Medical College Hospital located in Philadelphia in 1975. Subsequently, Doctor Topkis practiced Internal Medicine in Sun Valley, Idaho for two years and then returned to training and completed his Anesthesiology Residency at Stanford University Hospital in California in 1980. Doctor Topkis earned his Board Certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology in 1987. Doctor Topkis practiced Anesthesiology for thirteen years at Western Medical Center; an Orange County designated Trauma Center, and then joined Newport Beach Surgery Center in 1993 where he practices full time.
De Moyle Howell, M.D.
Doctor Howell received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University located in New York and his Medical Doctorate degree from Hahnemann University located in Philadelphia. Doctor Howell completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Bryn Mawr Hospital located in Pennsylvania in 1986 and subsequently completed his Anesthesiology Residency as well as a Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at Hahnemann University Hospital in 1991. Doctor Howell has earned the distinction of achieving Dual Board Certification from both the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Doctor Howell has also held a Clinical Assistant Professorship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
Steven Synder, M.D.
Doctor Snyder earned his Medical Doctorate degree from Tulane University located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Doctor Snyder completed his Anesthesiology Residency at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center in Orange, California. Doctor Snyder additionally completed a Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation located in Cleveland, Ohio and subsequently completed a Pain Management fellowship at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. Doctor Snyder is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist on the American Board of Anesthesiology since 1994 and a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists. |
