NBSC is a small organization and is considered by many staff members as an extended family. Available Positions

GI TECHNICIAN
Assists GI team during endoscopic procedures. Arranges and inventories supplies necessary for the procedures. Cleans the scopes according to manufacturer's recommendations, and prepares them for subsequent cases. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the special procedure room. The GI Tech is responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. REQUIREMENTS: Licenses or Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification, Surgical Techinician Certification (preferred), High School Graduate or equivalent, GI Tech training or previous GI experience is required. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to set priorities; Ability to anticipate the needs of the case, physician and patient; Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency within the unit; Ability to communicate well with physicians, patients, co-workers, etc.; Ability to work within the team.
OPERATING ROOM NURSES
WE ARE SEEKING QUALIFIED OPERATING ROOM NURSES TO JOIN OUR TEAM ON A FULL TIME OR PER DIEM BASIS. YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT RN LICENSE, BLS CERTIFIED, AND AT LEAST TWO YEARS OPERATING ROOM EXPERIENCE. THE CENTER OFFERS COMPETITIVE SALARIES AND BENEFITS. IN ADDITION, BEING A FREESTANDING AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER OUR OPERATIONS ARE DURING THE DAY.
